Cheque Presentation By David Proud
Today I presented the cheques for £125 from the UTSS to John Blakeston coxswain/mechanic of the Falmouth Lifeboat. The presentation was onboard the stations Severn class lifeboat “ Richard Cox Scott” and at the same time presented Simon with his copy of the Diary. Simon was delighted with the finished article and said, “how much he enjoyed compiling it”, even asking, was we going to do anything else?? I have asked for a receipt for the societies donation be sent to your home address Pete.
Veterans Day 2018
Veterans Day 2018 will be held at East Park, Hull on Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th July. As in the past UT&SS will be involved with a display stand showing the various attributes of the society. Please scroll down to see directions of the venue.
Frenchman/Yorkshireman Exhibition at the Hull Maritime Museum
There is currently an exhibition of the Tugs Frenchman and Yorkshireman on display at the Hull Maritime Museum.
The event is open from now, until June.
Next Committee Meeting

New “Superman” arriving on the Humber
A brand new, state of art tug "Superman" is currently on the way from Turkish builders. Having just entered the North Sea on passage from Turkey and due in Hull on 8th September 2017. Her new owners are SMS Towage Limited. Hopefully photographs to follow.
